Un joven va \u201cguindando\u201d en la puerta. Una se\u00f1ora, de esas que ahora llaman de tercera edad, comenta en voz alta que es un peligro que el joven vaya as\u00ed, casi en el aire. \u201cEso est\u00e1 prohibido, se han muerto unos cuantos por hacer eso. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Si fuera autoridad amonestar\u00eda al chofer y al joven\u201d. Nadie contesta y el joven sigue haciendo malabarismos peligrosos. La se\u00f1ora insiste: \u201c\u00a1eso est\u00e1 prohibido!\u201d, mientras el chofer sonr\u00ede como diciendo \u201ctranquila, se\u00f1ora, si eso es normal\u201d. Otro joven toma la palabra y lanza una frase lapidaria: \u201c\u00a1Qu\u00e9 Ley, se\u00f1ora, si aqu\u00ed todo el mundo quiere ser Ley! Todo el mundo manda y nadie hace caso. F\u00edjese, esta ma\u00f1ana \u2013era domingo\u2013mataron a las 9 a un chamo por Castillito.  \u00a1La OLP! Se lo arrancaron a su madre. Le metieron 16 tiros. Yo lo vi. Hasta me salpic\u00f3 la sangre\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Y ah\u00ed si comenz\u00f3 un conversatorio sobre el hecho. Seg\u00fan el informante improvisado, \u201clas OLP\u201d, o sea las autoridades, actuaron a plena luz del d\u00eda, con su cara descubierta, miraron los rostros de varios j\u00f3venes y dispararon. Supuestamente el chamo ten\u00eda problemas. S\u00f3lo ese relato da para una tesis, pues aqu\u00ed no hay pena de muerte, esa no puede ser la manera de resolver el problema de la inseguridad. Las autoridades, seg\u00fan este relato, realizan ejecuciones extra judiciales sin cuidar ni siquiera que sea a la luz del d\u00eda y ante la vista de todo el mundo, pero queda la afirmaci\u00f3n anterior: \u201cAqu\u00ed todo el mundo quiere ser Ley\u201d. Y esto se est\u00e1 volviendo costumbre.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQui\u00e9n manda a qui\u00e9n en este pa\u00eds? \u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1 la Ley leg\u00edtima? \u00bfD\u00f3nde queda el debido proceso? \u00bfCada qui\u00e9n aplica la justicia a su parecer? Los linchamientos apuntan hac\u00eda la privatizaci\u00f3n de la justicia y vayan siguiendo la lista de casos de personas disparando para resolver los problemas de inseguridad.  Los \u201cajustes de cuenta\u201d tambi\u00e9n van en esa direcci\u00f3n. Aplicar la Ley seg\u00fan la propia conveniencia.<\/p>\n<p>Esto nos puede llevar al caos y, en el caos, los m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles suelen ser las primeras v\u00edctimas. Todos no podemos ser \u201cla Ley\u201d. En el hogar, los padres tienen la \u00faltima responsabilidad;  en una escuela, el equipo directivo tiene la \u00faltima responsabilidad;  en el pa\u00eds tambi\u00e9n hay autoridades responsables de aplicar la Ley y hay una Constituci\u00f3n que dice qu\u00e9 vale y qu\u00e9 no, y todo no vale. Los ciudadanos no podemos comportarnos como los animales de la selva: la ley del m\u00e1s fuerte  y, en nuestro caso, la ley del que est\u00e1 armado o apoyado. Las leyes se han hecho para tener un c\u00f3digo de comportamiento. Est\u00e1 claro que la impunidad que impera est\u00e1 exasperando a los venezolanos, esa es una explicaci\u00f3n, pero, no podemos aceptarlo.<\/p>\n<p>Todos no podemos ser \u201cla Ley\u201d.  Las leyes est\u00e1n para protegernos.
